Now that everyone is totally confused about Gnosism let me Try to Be helpful in this Mortal/Celestial Understanding if I may. Gnos is Greek for Know or knowledge You see that the first letter in both are Silent just as the Ineffable Father is in Silence which all Gnosis is from. Gnosis is Divine knowledge. Here is an important scripture; Pistis Sophia

Page 195 (Jesus Christ is speaking)
gnosis of the universe, wherefor all this hath arisen, unless he knoweth the one and only word of the Ineffable, which is the gnosis of the universe. And again in openness: I am the gnosis of the universe. And moreover it is impossible to know the one and only word of the gnosis, unless a man first receive the mystery of the Ineffable. But all the men who shall receive mysteries in the Light,--every one will go and inherit up to the region up to which he hath received mysteries.
This last part is below in the form of a parable,M't:10:41 as you can see many would not understand.

let me explaine; The word of Gnosis is not the word of Parables and traditions. But the actual connection to Christ through the Spirit for receiving the word of God(ineffable)

M't:10:41: He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
In simple words Folks the Higher you get in the kingdom of God here on earth in all your spoken words and deeds, this will transfer to the Heights in the Heavens you will be going. As there are many Houses in Gods kingdom.Thus its meaning.
If you are now starting to realize that there is way more things after leaving this world for us than anyone could have imagined or has ever been told.You are indeed correct. In all this information My dear Friends nothing you will find contradicts with any other knowledge as Christ told us of, for the word is but one. Blessed is he how comes in the name of the Lord People that goes for we also whom walk in His steps indeed.
as Jesus has said, an I shall speak to you also by direction;
M't:13:17: For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
That Now is the First Thing to remember "Jesus Christ is the Gnosis of the Universe" He knows all things in all the realms of Past, Present and future as things are now. Remember a higher Love is always possible, which would make the future Better or worst for the overall picture, and Only Our lord Has that collective vision of that indeed. Wow..:-)) Although we too can feel it...
To understand Gnosis in the greatest light, one must Repent their Sins of this world, The Lord loves you and all the watching Angels are praying and helping in your quest. It is said for every soul that enters the Heavenly Realm all the Angels rejoice. The One Mystery that is a part of most all of the major Mysteries is the Mystery of the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus was asked by his disciples, "How may we see the Kingdom of Heaven?"Jesus said "as You look at the cross which is for mankind to look at in this veiled world as a shadow , then look behind the cross which will be disclosed, but only when you understand this mortal realm First , then all will be Known to you."

5 Jesus said, "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.

For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. [And there is nothing buried that will not be raised.

I have literally talked with a very many souls with always seeking to help others find their potential that lies within them, so many have said well I have been waiting for the sign from God or anything and I will follow Him. Here is a true fact; You could be sitting in a chair with only a Refrigerator of food on the other side of the room and You could pray till the cows come Home for God to supply food. But if you don`t get up and get it , your going to die after awhile.

Then many while blame it on God of course.
Seek and ye will find, not sit there and all will be given you :-)) ye wouldn`t that be a cloud potato... lol
Also waiting and Resting is two different things

Thomas 50 ; If they ask you, 'What is the evidence of your Father in you?' say to them, 'It is motion and rest.'"
This is the resting after accomplishing something important.

Please understand this, as so few do in the world the word, Gnostic is used in every religion, belief, occult, witchcraft due to the dark side making it an esoteric following and Corrupting: the teachings of Jesus Christ. Ask yourself this Brothers and Sisters "for so long they have try to take Jesus Christ out of schools, Governments and every day life, O one moment here is something to smile on. Atheists want this credibility of not Having to worship God right?! So if one puts up a fight against something , that something must exist in order to contend with it. Therefor Atheists are the best proof there is a God. :-))wow. which is along what I started with on "why is the Pope himself so afraid of Jesus Christ to tell the entire world that His worship is Danger. So apparently He is as powerful as all the scriptures claim Ayyyy LOL
The Eye of Horus, which is Satan and all other names, But did you know what that little squiggly line under the eye means? It means that Satan is crying because he knows he can`t save or get all the souls for himself. is that sick or what but exactly what the Pope is up to, trying to achieve. This is the Falling away for those that may see My Friends indeed.

Lu:8:10: And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
So I know that researching great knowledge in Scriptures that hold much truth outside the Bible is like a Bird leaving the nest so to speak. It must learn to fly and fly well.
So with this in mind My best Help in that would be to start out reading only The Gnostic scriptures of Jesus Christ. then after you read those which are many indeed, you will know were to fly in all the rest of them to understand them and Mankind`s writings.
My earthly Brother Peter(and yes he lives up to its meaning) being the rock ounce told me "Tom I am very strong in the Lord and have no need of any other scriptures outside the Bible" This He said after I ask him to read the Apocraphon of John. I said to him "Really , So if you had an Evil transcript and You knew there was one sentence in it that was of God, You could find it straight out? with out being taken off tract?." I said I`m not asking you to Believe in the Gnostic teaching just read a Gospel. He really didn`t want to, on top of the Brotherly competition thing which just an illusion. But He read it. Afterwords I really expecting a negative answer, but in turn He said "well it was very confusing with so much information in a first read situation but I did emulate with some portions of the writings. And He never denied it being factual.

So the word itself has been twisted and fornicated for so long that it true meaning would not be sought after, which is the narrow gate to salvation. Ex; The Holy Spirit is the 24 Mystery were I think most good people can concur with understanding it abit more. Being like Sisters from either side of the country having the same feeling and thoughts .. then there phones ring. For this Happens from the love of the Holy Spirit(24 Mystery of God) which truly is Grand indeed to marvel at.
Some will call it a Sign of something, and others Miracles, when really its just the power of the Mysteries working in Life continuously.
Joh:3:7: Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
